The Kingsborough Center for Economic and Workforce Development (CEWD), a Presidential initiative, serves as a catalyst to coordinate, lead and foster innovation and collaboration in workforce and economic development. Reflecting on the workplace needs of today with an eye toward the future, the Center fosters the growth of new initiatives by providing incubators, consulting, mentoring and other related services to support entrepreneurial development and job creation in the community.

First "Green Advantage" Training in NYC Kingsborough Community College, together with the Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation (BEDC), facilitated the first “Green Advantage” Training in New York City.

Kosher Culinary Arts School Kingsborough Community College’s Center for Economic and Workforce Development and Office of Continuing Education in conjunction with the Center for Kosher Culinary Arts inaugurated the only professional kosher cooking school in North America.
