The Center for Economic and Workforce Development (CEWD) at Kingsborough Community College is proud to launch of its Brooklyn FoodWorks Sustainable Restaurants Survey. Brooklyn FoodWorks manages the campus’s urban farm, coordinates workshops and events which spotlight local, green restaurants and maintains our online Sustainable Restaurant Map. The survey has been distributed to restaurants that source locally or grow their own ingrediants with the goal of gathering information about sustainability in the food service industry, and identifying "green" skills needed by employers.
