CUNY English as a Second Language/Adult Literacy Program is free of charge. This part-time course runs twice a week. Students are placed in classes according to their level of English proficiency, which is determined by administering the computerized BEST Plus test. The admissions counselor is available to assist with CUNY applications and to help eliminate potential problems during the process of acceptance. Orientations and workshops are also arranged to prepare students for further educational and workforce readiness.
