A partnership between Kingsborough Community College CEWD and The Center for Kosher Culinary Arts offers the only professional kosher cooking program in North America. It offers a 144-hour intensive course that teaches students culinary skills and food safety and sanitation in a kosher environment.

The Center for Kosher Culinary Arts was founded by Elka Pinson and is directed by Jesse Blonder. The classes are taught by faculty of the Kingsborough Community College Department of Tourism and Hospitality as well as visiting Rabbis from the OK Kosher Certification mark.
